You know what's difficult sometimes, waiting. Waiting can be difficult but there's a blessing in waiting. The blessing that comes to mind is being grateful for the journey. A lot of people journey's have been cut short because of injuries, deaths, quitting, or they lost passion or perseverance for what they were pursuing. During my journey for obtaining my Masters in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. I grew closer to another multimedia company that I didn't know existed, Proximity Media. I was doing research on Ryan Coogler for an assignment in Brand Development, and seen headlines about Proximity Media.

Before we get into "In Proximity" first podcast episode and its fantastic production, I want to encourage you during the wait. While waiting for whatever you're waiting on, wait, but when the walk sign comes on, walk and don't hesitate because you might miss your opportunity to cross the street. It's the simple things that get you closer to your dreams.

Walking with a friend and brother is vital. Sometimes we need somebody to talk to during the walk. Sometimes we need our iron to be sharpened during the fight. "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." The feeling of being able to express ourselves to someone we can trust with our story helps tremendously. Vulnerability works miracles.

In Proximity first podcast episode, with Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler, they tell us a non-fiction story through the power of voice and laughter. The works they've finished together shows us the importance of chemistry and teamwork in the film industry. As I listened, I could hear how comfortable they were talking to each other, every word spoken was easy, but that would be expected. "Fruitvale Station", "Black Panther", "Creed I", "Creed II", and "Creed III". All great films they've collaborated on and formed a personal relationship during the journey of filming those projects.

Production

What I like about this podcast is the creativity of the production. I don't want to give it all away, but this podcast feels natural. It's an easy listen with the choice of transition music, background music, quality sound, and some bloopers. Right! Bloopers for a podcast. All in all, the podcast is waiting for you to listen. The Wait Is Over

I heard about this podcast while listening to the Black Panther podcast. A snippet/teaser always has me wondering what the piece of work will be about. Especially when the snippet contains material I can relate to. Being an entrepreneur is an interesting adventure but it's worth it because it keeps me on my toes. Remember, ten toes down, the wait is over. It's time to get to work.
